Subertising

We are trying to instantly recall numbers without counting. This is called subertising.

We are shown a card and given 2 seconds to call out the answer.

This helps us recognise different number patterns and number combinations.

Making our doubles

Here we are creating our own patterns to show our  doubles.

We drew the pattern and then wrote the number story underneath.

Some of us turned these into butterflies.
