Today we shared strategies from our shared lunch.
Our tough question was we had 28 blueberries and needed to share them with four people. How many would each person get?
Pippa could share out blocks to Work this out and Poppy put out thinking into a word story. Great team Work group!!

Group Rima- fraction battle
Key Learning:
XZavier: When fractions are very close, you can convert them into decimals.
I know 3/4 = 0.75 and 11/13 = 0.84. So 11/13 is bigger than 3/4.
Mikayla: Using rectangles (chocolate) is easier to cut into equal pieces, especially if the pieces are not equal.
Domique and Nessa: I learnt about the greater and less sign
Elise: I learnt that 2/4 is half and is smaller than 4/6
Xavier: When drawing a rectangle being split into different pieces you need to put in one less line than the total pieces of the denominator.
