Group 6 - ono

We are spending the term focusing on our fractions. Can you see us trying to break 36 into different groups. we now know: 1/3 of 36 = 12 (because 3 groups of 12 is 36 or 3 x 12 = 36) 1/2 of 36 = 18 (because 2 groups of 18 is 36 or 2 x 18 = 36) 1/6 of 36 = 6 (because 6 groups of 6 is 36 or 6 x 6 = 36) 1/4 of 36 = 9 (because 4 groups of 9 is 36 or 4 x 9 = 36)
