Welcome to the Maths blog for 2017. Our teacher is Mrs Madden. We are looking forward to working together and learning new mathematical concepts and accelerate our learning.
Check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.
I played the game.It was so easy!I chose a hard number (2), while my mom chose an easy number (22). my cards were: 10,8,6,Q,J.My solution was (10+8)=18 then 18/6=3 then 3 -1 where Q(13)-J(12)=1 so =2 Next cards were: 10,K,6,4,ace.My mom's solution:(10+14)-(6-4)*1 Robert

Well Played, how could you modify the game to make it harder? ie. perhaps take away one operation, add an extra card? Would love to hear your response. Also have you tried the special interest Group task (its about creating a house plan - you are welcome to construct this in anyway - perhaps using a computer programme you are familiar with?).
