Group Rua: adding two digit numbers
Here we are breaking our numbers into tens and ones and then adding each one. We used the place value blocks to see what the tens and ones look like. We are trying to see the difference and get a picture in our head.

I know
ReplyDelete24 = 61 = ?
20+4+60+1
i borck the blocks into 10s and 1s
I got the first one wrong because I wrote 82 + 73 and instead of breaking the numbers into tens and ones. I put the 8 and 7 to make 87. I added the ones right though. I know 3 + 2 = 5.
ReplyDeleteThe next picture I got it right because I did the tens and ones correctly!!
