Group wha: Choosing our learning goal

Group Toru:

Here we are making 429 and getting 10 more.
Today we learnt more than in maths means plus or addition. The number gets bigger. The tens change to make 439.

Next Ten game: New Group Tahi:

Get a card and find out how many to the nearest 10. See how many ways you can write and say the combinations.

When you have mastered this game make it two digits with two cards.

President of NZ Mathematics Association Visit

Here Mrs Frankcom is talking to us about our Mathematical learning in Room 23. She was impressed to see we had a growth mindset and enjoyed Mathematics almost as much as her 😀😀

She also awarded a prize to Mrs Madden for her teaching! It's like a big sticker for teachers- we are always life long learners.

A very special day indeed!

Welcome to Term 4

This week and next is exciting as we hear the students voice and see how much progress they have made!!

This is one of the best parts of any teacher's job!

Please celebrate in their success and progress.
