Welcome to the Maths blog for 2017. Our teacher is Mrs Madden. We are looking forward to working together and learning new mathematical concepts and accelerate our learning.
Check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.
Using the plane windows we can write a variety of fractions.
We have learnt that fractions change depending on what the whole is.
We are starting to see how big fractions are by putting them on a numberline.
I have learnt lots more of my fractions , Like a third of 12 is 4. If I make it into two groups there will be 6 or 1/2 or half. I know is 1/6 of 12 is 2. I can make four groups which are quarters. 1/4 of 12 is 3.

I had lots of fun answering questions, but the strategy i like the most is, the
