Special interest: intake 2- Fraction snake..

This is the best puzzle to allow students to see fractions in a different way.
Each student has a snake 10 segments long (later increase the segments) or they can make their own.
They chose three colours and colour in a segment randomly.

They must make two cuts ensuring each part shows half of a colour.
 Each colour must be represented.

Well done Dayna and Olivia who collaborated together to create their snake.

Can you see how each colour is represented as half??

Have a go yourselves- don't forget to post a comment.

Mrs Madden, a big thank you for keeping this blog updated so promptly that full time working parents like me are kept on the same page with children's school life. Diane
